The Funny Story

    We all stood there for a few minutes (we couldn’t move), but then, a cloaked figure named Nabal bonked his head and said, “Beware. Beware. My head is bonked.” Then, all of the 2 headed pandas disappeared. We all stared at each other. In its place was a small basket. It was Ava’s old one. The one that Ava had gotten when she had bruised her head. We all laughed at the thought because it was really funny. We were about to eat the funny when we suddenly noticed that there was no funny. We all stomped our feet in disbelief. 


Then, Ava took the basket and we all tickled our noses, while walking home. We lived underground and our neighbor was a tiny worm named Elephant. Down the stairs we went, stomping our feet as loudly as possible. Ava pulled her sleeve and we had a treat. Then, Mingmei pulled her sleeve and we had a double treat. It was so funny. Ava and Mingmei were pulling their sleeves so much and it was like raining cheese and passion fruit. 


It was so funny! We tried to eat the funny, but there was none. We clapped our feet together, so we could think. Question marks suddenly appeared over our heads. Why couldn’t we eat funny? Suddenly, an exclamation mark appeared over Ava’s head. She opened her basket and suddenly our mouths were full of funny. Woohoo! Hurray! We could now eat funny!
